Shanker Self-Reg® Presenters & Partnerships

Bring Shanker Self-Reg to your team, in a way that fits your context.

The MEHRIT Centre works with schools, early childhood organizations, districts and systems, professional associations, governments, communities, allied health teams, workplaces, postsecondary institutions, conference organizers, and other groups interested in Shanker Self-Reg®.
Sometimes what you need is a great presentation. Sometimes it is learning for a team. And sometimes you are looking for a broader approach that can grow across an organization, community, or system.

You don’t need to arrive with a plan. Tell us about your people, what you’re hoping to explore or accomplish, and where you’d like to begin. We’ll help you consider what might make sense.

Explore Ways to Work With The MEHRIT Centre

Whether you have something specific in mind or are still figuring out what you need, here are a few ways we can work together.

What Could a Self-Reg Partnership Look Like?

There is no standard partnership package. A partnership begins with your context. We work with leaders to understand who is involved, what you’re hoping to explore or accomplish, what learning is already in place, and where support might be most useful.
For example:

â–º A school might begin with a presentation for the whole staff, followed by deeper learning for a core group and ongoing coaching for leaders as they work with the ideas in practice.

â–º A district or larger organization might combine a certificate course cohort for a core group with broader learning opportunities for staff, a multi-part webinar series, and ongoing leadership support.

â–º A community or early childhood organization might bring together staff learning, a community of practice, parent and caregiver learning, and resources that can be shared more widely.

A larger system or government initiative might involve several groups learning at different depths, customized learning or resources, support for leaders, and a longer-term plan that develops as the work unfolds.

A partnership can draw from certificate course cohorts, self-paced learning, micro-credentials, presentations and webinar series, customized learning, coaching, consulting, communities of practice, books and toolkits, and other parts of TMC’s work.

Some partnerships bring several pieces together from the outset. Others begin in one place and grow over time. What matters is finding an approach that makes sense for your people, priorities, resources, and context, and allowing it to evolve as we learn together.

Frequently Asked Questions About Self-Reg Presentations & Partnerships

We don't know where to start. What information do you need from us?

Start with what you know. Tell us who you’re hoping to support, approximately how many people are involved, what has brought you to Self-Reg or what you’re hoping to explore, and your approximate timeline. If you already know something about your preferred format or budget, that’s helpful too.
You don’t need to have the rest figured out before you contact us.

Stuart Shanker’s thinking and teaching are at the heart of TMC’s learning. While Stuart is no longer available for individual speaking engagements, you can learn directly from him through facilitated courses, masterclasses, books, videos, and the annual Self-Reg Summer Symposium.

Costs depend on what you’re looking for, including the format, number of participants, length of engagement, level of customization, resources, coaching or consulting, travel where applicable, and overall scope. If you’re working within a particular budget, let us know. It helps us explore realistic options with you.

Tell Us How We Can Help

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for before you contact us.
Tell us a little about your organization, audience, team, or community, what has brought you to Self-Reg, and what you’re hoping to explore or accomplish. It might be a single presentation, ongoing learning for a team, coaching for leaders, or something much broader.
We’ll help you think through the possibilities and find a place to begin.
It helps if you can tell us:

what you're hoping to explore or accomplish

your approximate timing

who the learning or event is for

whether you're thinking about online, in-person, or either

Don’t have all of that yet? That’s fine too.
