Shanker Self-Reg® Events

Learn with us live. There is always something new to explore in Self-Reg.

Throughout the year, The MEHRIT Centre brings people together for live webinars, conversations, book and journal clubs, special events and launches, and our annual Self-Reg Summer Symposium. These are opportunities to explore Shanker Self-Reg® with the people who teach, practise, write about, and continue to develop this work.

Our events bring Self-Reg science into the questions people are asking right now about stress, behaviour, learning, relationships, resilience, parenting and caregiving, leadership, and well-being. Some offer an accessible introduction to Self-Reg and a pathway into deeper learning. Others take an idea further, introduce new thinking and resources, or create space for people already immersed in Self-Reg to reconnect, reflect, and keep learning.
You might join us for a one-hour webinar, spend several weeks exploring a book or journal together, take part in a special launch or conversation, or come together with the wider Self-Reg community at our annual Summer Symposium.

Whatever brings you here, our live events are a chance to learn with us, ask questions, hear different perspectives, and discover where Self-Reg might take you next.

Where can I find upcoming TMC events?

Upcoming webinars, book and journal clubs, special events, launches, summits, and the Self-Reg Summer Symposium are listed in the Upcoming TMC Events calendar on this page. New events are added throughout the year.

The Self-Reg Summer Symposium is TMC’s signature annual gathering, held every summer since 2015. Each year, we explore a theme that matters deeply to us through Self-Reg science, new thinking, practical learning, connection, and restoration.
The Symposium takes place at Trent University in Ontario, Canada, with online participation available around the world. It is also the one time each year Stuart Shanker gathers live with the Self-Reg community and gives his annual Symposium talk.

GPS4Stress returns in February 2027 for the first time since 2018. The completely redesigned three-day online Summit will feature key talks, new Self-Reg learning, and daily opportunities to participate.
